Hiro's brother Atsuya is dating Hiro's childhood friend and secret crush Hikari. Hiro's affection for Hikari will lead him to commit an un-punishable crime against his older brother. At least, he thinks it is un-punishable, until he is kidnapped and imprisoned by a group of people wearing animal masks. The judging is about to start!

To what extend do you ppl think, the animal masks are related to the seven sins, and the sins to the 9 poor fellas...

I'd say it's very related. If you look closely (or not so close... XD), you'd notice that even though there are 9 people, there are only 7 different kinds of masks. Putting two and two together, I'd say that it's pretty likely that each mask kind represents each of the 7 sins.

Speaking about the mask > sin relation, could it have something to do with the japanese horoscope?

I don't think it has anything to do with the Japanese horoscope. I think the 7 sins thing is already plenty symbolism in the story.

In doubt, the evil guys wore bunny masks. In this, there's seven different masks for the seven sins. Chapter 1-5 give 2 sins and which animal represents it each chapter, though we won't be redoing 1-3 for awhile.

Either way, the sin they done relates to their mask, so we can slightly assume what they done in their past. I'm not surprised the fatty (pig mask) is gluttony, but I'm actually surprised the black-haired girl is, I'm interested on what she done.

Because bunny masks = evil in Doubt, I wonder if the guy with the bunny mask has a bigger role than just the protagonist in this story...?

Maybe the black-haired girl was actually fat, but then she went anorexic? :x

I heard that judge has a prequel.Is it true or not?And if it is true would someone tell me the name of the manga?

Judge's prequel is called Doubt. It definitely has close relation with Judge but you don't have to read it (but you should read it since it's so good!) because Judge isn't exactly a sequel to it. Or at least as far as I know. :p

Does anyone understand what the guy meant by he "can't love a girl"? Does that mean that he's gay, he actually can't physically love a girl, he has a fear of them, etc.?

Well, to sort of revive this....

I had close to no interest in this series, being someone who does not usually like horror. The idea of being judged and court cases was not my style, but here is one that places suspense into the picture. The beginning caught me and how the game is run is the same. Hope others will find this series at least as interesting as I found it. I give it a 7.5 out of 10, which is by me at least a good read...I only hope it does not become like "Doubt" by the same author....

For those who wish to discuss, a question: Which of the 7 sins does each mask represent? There are 9 people, and 2 pairs within, making 7 individual masks...

The author already confirmed what each mask represents. :)

Lion: Pride
Rabbit: Envy
Cat: Lust
Bear: Sloth
Pig: Gluttony
Fox: Greed
Horse: Wrath

These were confirmed in the extras of Volume 1 with the animal then the sin next they represent next to it. :D

Yep, but that leads them to question which sin was which.

Female Cat acts a bit promiscuous and has bruises around her breasts.
Male Cat seems normal, but apparently is homo and was kicked out his house cause of it.
Lion was a son of a big company and was inferior to his brothers.

No references or suggestions to what everyone else done, but Horse dude is waaaay too aggressive for normal means which fits why he's wrath. Hope we get more revelations on their pasts soon!
