You're missing the raw layer in all of the pages - there are supposed to be at least 3 layers each: a rotated/cropped raw layer, a clean layer above it, and a text removal layer on top.

Anyways, Page 1 - some after-denosie dirt on whites and a lot of it on blacks, the gray in panel 1, at the end of the bus is dirty - you should redraw it.

Page 2 - a bit of after-denoise dirt on whites and blacks.

Page 3 - not cropped properly, needs more topaz clean, a lot of dirt and some noise left.

Page 4 - lots of after-denoise dirt on whites, also there's a thin black line going from the left top corner of the page - if you're not cropping everything, just redraw it.

I initially had the layers but merged them so that it looked more like the screenshots in the tutorial. If you don't mind me suggesting, it may be better to modify it by changing the screenshot, or adding the details on the different layers it should have.

I was looking over some rejected applications and realized that I did not keep the raw intact for the background layer. I denoised it, then copied layer for further editing. Can we overlook that?

I wouldn't worry about the screenshot too much, just clean your own way. This first test is kinda old. Plus I'm a lazy bitch and haven't worked up the motivation to change it yet. :x

As long as you keep the raw on the file so I can compare the cleaning it's alright for now. Just try not to make a habit of it.

Page 1. The grays looked really patched and distorted. Also lots of detail is lost. Don't forget to level properly.

Page 2. Mostly over sharpened and some slight tone errors. What settings do you use for t.clean?

Page 3. This is way over processed, especially in the top half of the page.

Page 4. Grays are over sharpened.

I apologize for my delayed reply...alot of things were happening for the past few days. I tried applying those T.Cleaner settings to the way I clean and this is what resulted...

Page 1 - at the first look the page seems alright, the redraws are ok, the grays are clean, but the whites are kinda overleveled - a lot of lighter grays has disappeared, there's also some minor after-denoise dirt on whites and blacks left.

Page 2 - the grays are slightly too sharp, but other than that the page seems fine. Maybe it won't be an issue.

Page 3 - uhm, the pattern on the grays nearly disappeared :| Try keeping 'texture' in T.Clean at '1', or if the grays are too sharp, then change it once to '0.75-0.85'

Page 4 - the grays aren't uniform enough and there's too much of a detail loss, also there's a LOOOOOOOOT of after-denoise dirt on whites and blacks.

For the next few days, I won't be able to work on the cleaning test. I still plan on submitting them when I can...just clearing up my absence
