There are plenty of girls who only think of Negi as a friend or someone to be admired. Natsumi has barely interacted with him, Mana respects him but likely has no romantic interest at all and, from what I recall of the official love charts, Kaede seems to view him in a motherly fashion. There's also Asakura, Haruna, Konoka, Yuuna and more before you even branch out of Ala Alba.

Negi's good, but he hardly holds the entire cast's affections.
